Namacheko interrogates their discourse via their biannual manifesto, the Kordyene Journal. Probing into the corners of its visual and conceptual universe results in a seasonal accumulation of thematic angels and explorations. Under the creative direction of Dilan Lurr and the art direction of Elin Nyberg, the seasonal publication assembles contributors such as multidisciplinary artists and writers.

Kordyene issue one, titled Somnambulism, processes the eponymous collection, in which Namacheko collaborates with American artist Gregory Crewdson. The publication assembles glimpses of concepts and scenes of the world surrounding the collection. In a short essay, historian and writer William J. Simmons walks us through the realms of Somnambulism with poetic introspection. Also amongst the contributors are a group of photographers in New Haven, that have been given the freedom to reinterpret the collection through their own photographic lenses. Formulate in the landscape synonyms with Crewdson’s work, the collaboration expands and evolves.
