On the cover, a self-portrait by American artist Laurie Simmons, who photographed a series, especially for the magazine, and shares her thought on process in an interview with writer Emily Wells. A juxtaposition of images from the past and present, Dilan Lurr revisits his Kurdish roots. In a letter, William J. Simmons invites the reader to a fictional reality and we explore the graphic nature of the collection’s patterns and textures while the images of Dylan Hausthor transports us of the grid in Connecticut.
The publication was launched in a dozen select retailers in Paris, London, Tokyo, Osaka, Vancouver.
